Welcome to the deep, dark recesses of my own personal candyland. Things you may or may not find now and or later include, but are not limited to: mediocre crossover art, mediocre art in general, mediocre headcanon, ponies, more ponies, inane scientific/science-fiction ramblings that may or may not drive you utterly mad and a wee bit of drivel. You're probably already utterly mad just for reading this, but I digress, proceed with caution as I am not liable for your own sanity.
So as Cloudbreak stands - it’s less than 120 cards, and it needs to be over 150. I’ve exhausted most of Season 3’s material…
I think I’m going to slow down production on Cloudbreak, speed up production on the “secret project” and incorporate Season 4 into Cloudbreak from here on out.
I’ve already seen a number of things in S4 that seem to fit the theme within the first few episodes already, so I think I’ll give it a go!
Somehow some folks have figured out how to comment through tumblr, and don’t ask me how, but I can’t respond to them for any particular reason, so as I said in the last post, Disqus commenting is now enabled.
How does it work? I don’t know. Will I notice that you’ve posted comments? I don’t know. I’ll figure things out as I go along.
Also I fixed Snowflame.
Alrighty, it’s time for a fresh coat of paint - the old one was starting to get… messy.
So I’ve completely overhauled the visual formatting of my tumblr site. Bam. Just like that. I’ve also enabled Disqus so commenting *should* be easier.
If there are problems - please let me know.
The biggest, and perhaps the most intriguing thing about this new theme, which I don’t know if we’ll adjust to properly or not, is the way image galleries are displayed - and that’s what hooked me. Instead of laying all the images out in a big, messy pile, it neatly stacks them on top of each other, and you can easily flick your way through the pile. For everyone, that means you have to look at each image separately as opposed to all of them at once.
So what do you guys think?
So far, I like it!

Well, I made the nightly roundup.
I guess that’s… something?
I mean, I’m glad it got posted period, but I did kinda put over a month’s work into this, it’s not like it happens overnight.
Oh well, can’t *expect* anything - I just hope I’ll actually break the 50 followers mark somewhere down the road in Cloudbreak - speaking of which…
Regarding Cloudbreak - I’m going to do some heavy revision - it’s still rough from when I started, I want to flesh out the mechanics, and I want to fill in all of the gaps.
I’m also going to incorporate minor tidbits of the previous two sets into them, so you can expect some recurring effects in addition to the new ones.
Things to look forward to?
Trixie, Sombra, friendship, and magic. On top of that, there’s also going to be Crystal Ponies, Timberwolves, and the titular Clouds. Yes. Clouds.
Stick around, share the love, and for the love of ponies, do not hesitate to give feedback! I won’t turn away questions, I won’t ignore suggestions, and I certainly will take a look at any decklist submissions.
Regarding typos - they’re probably out there - I already know there’s a tiny issue with capitalization in “The Grump” which I intend to fix in the next update - these are small issues that occasionally slip past me, so do not at all think it rude to point them out, I will definitely fix them and apply the changes whenever I make updates.
Finally, as for the MLP CCG - if you have a prerelease in your area, give it a shot, the game (from what I’ve seen) is awesome so far, and is going to be a blast to play if balance works out all right.
Title says all you need to know!
Feedback is GREATLY APPRECIATED!!
I want to make sure EVERYTHING is up to snuff before I submit this.
Yes, I know there aren’t any descriptions/suggestions for the decklists, I’m actually adding those now.
Did I mention I would love feedback?
If you spot an error, even a minor one, please let me know!
If you have a rules or mechanics question, please ask!
I will answer any question I’m able, and I will try to do so as quickly as possible.
Decklist submissions are also appreciated, if anyone sends in anything interesting, I might just feature it. Perhaps I might even add a featured decklist section to the website in the future.
